Delly Deacon

Delly Deacon is an accessories maker based in London. Initially she studied 3D Design and Craft, but then she made a hat, and that was that. Delly dyes and patchworks cottons as a basis for her hats, giving each one varied elements and textures, once constructed they are coated in beeswax, giving them a rough crinkled patina and making them waterproof.

Referencing folkloric stories and imagery, she emulates the mood of a wanderer aimlessly walking, similarly Delly lets the stitches lead the way around the hat, giving them a squiggly well worn look.
